A common starting guideline is 0.2–0.5mg of CBD per pound of body weight per day:
- 20 lb dog: 4–10mg CBD/day
- 50 lb dog: 10–25mg CBD/day
- 80 lb dog: 16–40mg CBD/day
Start at the lower end and observe for 1–2 weeks before adjusting. Give with food for better absorption.
